Katie is an exceptional writer bursting with talent, skill and word magic. She earned the highest grades and was the best performing student for the many years I have been teaching. Her writing is innovative, fresh and unputdownable.

Thoughtful and deeply engaged, Katie demonstrated a deep and sophisticated understanding of readings, critical theories, and the real-world media and communication landscape, including intersections with global politics and business. Beyond her academic excellence, Katie was a natural leader who supported her fellow students and worked brilliantly in groups. An excellent writer who secured impressive work before graduation, she is THE student we would call on to help represent our program and discipline.
